The music wouldn’t necessarily be for the candle video, more for our original performance with the cake and tea because it’s quite long and can get a bit boring. That’s the video I showed my friend where e commented about what music he was expecting.

i agree i really like L’Autre Valse D’Amelie however how does it relate to what were trying to do? to me the project is about trying to trigger memories in people unconsciously through our scent and create a sense of relax in the video….(as you dont generally feel relaxed getting the bus) although the music would create a sense of feeling at ease possibly? 

all i can think of when i hear is french people and subtitles…..do we want other people to think this. although with the video playing with the music maybe people will not relate it to Amelie at all?

I really like Yann Tiersen- L’Autre Valse D’Amelie, as background music for the bus stop video. I feel that the music compliments the humorous atmosohere of our Bus Stop performance, it has entertainment value. Will try and put this to the video and then upload it :)

If we had more times on this project could we go on to create candles from our fragrance oils and make some almost transparent tea cups from a thin mixture of plaster and put a collection of these in a bus stop, similar to the oil burners. The candles could be put into the tea cups and lit so you can see the glow through the tea cup and still get the scent because the candles are made from the oils.

Or could the tea cups be made from wax so as the candles burn they erode away. a sort of opposite to making our object stronger for the outdoors.
